Get ready to soar! Our brand-new roller coaster, Flying Fox, opens this year, and it’s unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Inspired by Kentucky’s agricultural roots and the daredevil spirit of aerial cropdusters, this high-flying attraction lets you join legendary pilot Jeb Fox on a training mission over rolling farmland.
From themed queue experiences to hair-raising loops, dives, and near misses, Flying Fox will take you on a thrilling journey that ends with the ultimate test of bravery. It’s the perfect blend of storytelling and adrenaline, and a must-ride for every thrill-seeker in the family.
In addition to Flying Fox, guests will discover new places to dine and relax. The newly reimagined Bluegrass Grill will embrace the flavors of the Commonwealth, offering a delicious menu with items like Southern Fried Chicken and Mac 'n' Cheese. Whether you’re refueling between rides or sitting down for a hearty meal, Bluegrass Grill brings Kentucky’s culinary traditions to life.

The park’s new 2026 calendar offers plenty of ways to fit the fun into your schedule, whether you're planning a spring getaway, summer vacation, or weekend road trip. Kentucky Kingdom will open in May and operate on select weekdays and weekends through September, with Pumpkins kicking off in October and Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom starting November 21, 2026 continuing through January 2, 2027.

What’s coming up next? The debut of Flying Fox, set to open in Spring 2026, will bring a new family-friendly coaster to the park as the first to open since 2019, building on the momentum of Discovery Meadow, which debuted in 2025.
