Driving Directions
Kentucky Kingdom is on the grounds of the Kentucky Exposition Center, in the heart of Louisville at the intersection of I-65 and I-264. Follow the highway signs to the Kentucky Expo Center/Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay.
Starting June 1, a section of I-65 between I-264 and downtown Louisville will be temporarily closed for construction. Kentucky Kingdom is fully open and easy to reach from every direction using I-264 (Watterson Expressway). Use the routes below to plan your trip, and don't forget to give yourself a few extra minutes. We'll see you at the park!

FROM THE NORTH (Downtown Louisville, Southern Indiana, Indianapolis via I-65 South):
Take I-64 West at Spaghetti Junction to I-264 East (Watterson Expressway)
Take Exit 11 (Crittenden Drive / Fair/Expo Center)
Follow signs to Kentucky Kingdom.
FROM THE WEST (Southern Indiana/West Louisville via I-64 East):
Take I-64 East across the river into Louisville
Take I-264 East (Watterson Expressway)
Take Exit 11 (Crittenden Drive / Fair/Expo Center)
Follow signs to Kentucky Kingdom.
FROM CINCINNATI (Via I-71 South):
Take I-71 South toward Louisville
Take I-264 West (Watterson Expressway)
Take Exit 11 (Crittenden Drive / Fair/Expo Center)
Follow signs to Kentucky Kingdom.
FROM THE SOUTH (Elizabethtown, Bowling Green, Nashville via I-65 North):
I-65 North remains open up to I-264
Take I-264 West from I-65 North
Take Exit 12 (Fair/Expo Center)
Follow signs to Kentucky Kingdom.
FROM THE EAST (Lexington, Frankfort via I-64 West):
Take I-64 West into Louisville
Take I-264 West (Watterson Expressway)
Take Exit 11 (Crittenden Drive / Fair/Expo Center)
Follow signs to Kentucky Kingdom.
