Saturday, May 9th, we open our gates for another season, and we could not be more excited to welcome you back. New dining and entertainment options, an improved guest experience, your favorite signature events returning, and so much more are on the way. Thank you for being part of the Kentucky Kingdom family. Your loyalty and enthusiasm are what make this park so special, and this year we are delivering something worth the wait.
We are proud to introduce Flying Fox, our first new roller coaster since 2019 and one of the centerpieces of a significant multi-year investment in the future of our park. Our team has poured incredible energy into making sure this ride delivers an experience unlike anything else at Kentucky Kingdom. Flying Fox will be making its debut after the season kicks off, and we cannot wait for you to be among the first to experience it.
Alongside the coaster, we are also opening Bluegrass Grill, a brand-new dining concept near Flying Fox. This new food location will be serving up southern-inspired flavors with a Kentucky Twist! You can look forward to favorites like Cornmeal Dusted Catfish, Southern Fried Chicken, Mac ‘N’ Cheese, and more. It is another way we are working to make every visit to the park feel new, whether you are here for the thrills or the food or both.
These additions build on the momentum of Discovery Meadow, which brought an entirely reimagined area of the park to life last season with new rides, attractions, and dining. The response from our guests has reinforced something we already believed: when we invest in this park, you show up. That means the world to us, and it is exactly why we are going to keep doing it.
