January 17, 9AM-6PM- Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, KY. January 31, 12:30-4:30 PM, February 13, 5:30-8 PM, February 15, 1-5 PM- Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville, KY.

What We Are Looking For:

Face Character Actress

Robin Bloom: Discovery Meadows flora and fauna specialist and botanist. She loves nature and all living things. She is quirky, bright, bubbly, well-spoken and smart. She is great with children too!

Requirements:

• Must be 5’5-5’8
• Look- Blue round shaped eyes, oval face shape, pronounced lip
•  Athletic build
• Acting/Improv ability, high quality character actress
• Passable for 20’s
• Must memorize scripting and interact with guests
• Will read from sides, and may be asked to improv
• Housing available if needed
• Must be 18+
• Will hire 2-3 people to play character for the year, if needed.

• Recent head shot
• Updated performance resume

This character is not required to sing or dance.

Costume Characters and Handlers

Seeking hourly hosts to perform as various costume characters for our different seasons. These hosts would be hired in as hourly employees, but their main job would consist of bringing our loveable characters to life and learning how to perform as a handler to keep our characters safe. Swings for characters could be hired as contract.

• Must be age 16+
• Character parameters:
  • Scout- Discovery Meadow Squirrel and lover of snacks!
    • Must be 5’2-5’5, perfect height would be 5’4
  • Mummy- Cool guy vibes, must be able to move well, may be asked to come to dance call
    • Must be 5’3-5’6, prefer medium build
  • Mr. Boogles- Funny ghost, a dapper dresser, must be able to move well, may be asked to come to dance call
    • Must be 5’9-6’1, any build
  • Bumble- abominable snow man from the classic Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, must be able to lift 10 lbs for duration of time
    • Must be 5’10-6’2, prefer 6’0 and up
  • Rudolph- the most famous reindeer of all
    • Must be 5’0-5’4, prefer small to medium build
  • ALL MUST BE GOOD WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.

Singer/Dancers, Singers and Dancer Only

Seasonal Availability: Summer- May 17-August 9, Pumpkins- Sept 17-Nov 1, Christmas- Nov 13-Jan 2. Casting for summer strolling show, Halloween family shows, and Christmas shows. All auditioning should plan to come back for dance call at the end of each audition day.

Singers/Dancers

Requirements:

• Prepare 16-24 bars 2 upbeat pop or country songs with track (no accompanist available, aux cord will be available to play track you provide)
  • If interested in auditioning for Christmas, please also prepare a classic Christmas carol and a contemporary Christmas song a cappela
• May be asked to attend dance call (invitation only)
• Must be strong singer and comfortable with tight harmonies while dancing
• Looking for dynamic personalities
• May be asked to read from sides
• May be asked to do a call back song that you’ll learn there
• Looking for multifaceted performers
• If you can tumble or have tricks, we would love to see that
• Housing available if needed
• Must be 18+

What to bring:

• Recent head shot
• Updated performance resume
• Comfortable clothes and appropriate shoes for dance call
• Music tracks to sing with

Singers Only

Requirements:

• Prepare 16-24 bars 2 upbeat pop or country songs with track (no accompanist available, aux cord will be available)
  • If interested in auditioning for Christmas, please also prepare a classic Christmas carol and a contemporary Christmas song a cappela
• Must be strong singer and comfortable with tight harmonies
• Looking for dynamic lead singer energy
• May be asked to read from sides
• May be asked to do a call back song that you’ll learn there
• Housing available if needed
• Must be 18+

• Music track to sing with

Dancers Only

Requirements:

• Please ONLY come to one dance call (1/17 at 6:30 PM, 1/31 at 5PM, 2/13 at 8PM, or 2/15 at 5:30PM)
• Arrive 15 minutes early to get a number and hand in resume.
• You may be asked to do more difficult dance call after initial call
• Looking for dynamic personalities
• Looking for multifaceted performers
• If you can tumble and do tricks, we would love to see that
• Housing available if needed
• Must be 18+

What to bring:

• Recent head shot
• Updated performance resume
• Comfortable clothes and appropriate shoes for dance call

CAN’T ATTEND AUDITIONS? YOU CAN SEND IN A VIDEO SUBMISSION.
