Costume Characters and Handlers

Seeking hourly hosts to perform as various costume characters for our different festivals. These hosts would be hired as hourly employees, but their main job would consist of bringing our loveable characters to life and learning how to perform as a handler to keep our characters safe.

• Must be 16+
• Must apply online on jobs page. Kentucky Kingdom management will follow up to schedule an audition.
• Character parameters:
  • Mummy - Cool guy vibes, must be able to move well, and may be asked to come to dance call.
    • Must be 5’3-5’6, prefer medium build
  • Mr. Boogles - Funny ghost, a dapper dresser, must be able to move well, and may be asked to come to dance call
    • Must be 5’9-6’1, any build
  • Bumble - abominable snow man from the classic Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer and must be able to lift 10 lbs. for duration of time
    • Must be 5’10-6’2, prefer 6’0 and up
  • Rudolph - the most famous reindeer of all
    • Must be 5’0-5’4, prefer small to medium build
  • ALL MUST BE GOOD WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.

Singers and/or Dancers

Seasonal Availability:

• Pumpkins - Sept 17-Nov 1
• Christmas - Nov 13-Jan 2.

To be considered for Pumpkins and Christmas casting, please send a video with a slate with name, height, location and if you require housing. Additionally:

• For Pumpkins:
  • Singer & Dancer: Send a video singing two pop/rock songs and a dance reel (if you have one).
  • Dancer Only: Send in dance reels of varying styles.
  • All: Send headshot and resume.
• For Christmas:
  • Singer Only:
    • Send a video singing one acapella Christmas carol and one pop Christmas song with track.
    • Include a resume and headshot
